The leap in time Lab ( is a dynamic and innovative research institute in Darmstadt, known from the press and proud of its roots as a spin-off of the Technical University of Darmstadt. Since our foundation in 2016, we have passionately dedicated ourselves to researching future working environments. We translate scientific findings into practical applications and shape the interface between research, business and society. Our team works every day to not only predict the future of work, but to actively shape it and make it tangible.

Your Mission
As a Full Stack Developer at leap in time Lab you will:
• Work with the latest technologies and AI applications and transform them into innovative solutions.
• Work in agile project teams to develop efficient and scalable software products.
• Design and further develop the system architecture of our innovative research platforms.
• Create both front-end and back-end systems based on high performance and usability.
• Develop interfaces to external APIs and implement integrations.
• Integrate secure authentication methods to ensure data privacy and security.
• Cover the entire software development lifecycle, from brainstorming to development and deployment.
• Maintain, optimise and extend existing web applications.

Your Profile
If the following characteristics apply to you, then you are the right person for our team:
• Successfully completed training as an IT specialist or a comparable degree.
• Profound knowledge and practical experience with REST APIs and containerisation with Docker.
• Good knowledge of the programming languages Python, JavaScript and web technologies such as HTML and CSS.
• Experience in working with software version management systems (e.g. GitLab).
• Proven ability in frontend and backend development.
• Fluency in written and spoken German and English.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in agile software development.
